I first used plastic in 1986 a old peoples home I was working in, The builder's choice not mine, It was acorn then, Anyway I still do maintainance in there and there have been no problem with the pipework, Acorn are now hep20, So thats 30 years ago, Same here Tom first used Acorn & still come across it. Non barrier etc, but it was easy to fit. Use a lot of Hep2o on new builds & it's my choice.

anyone use polypipe stuff, its a bit cheaper but i steer clear, i've heard some bad stories from others, One guy I know did a bathroom refit with it, he got a bad leak 6 months later and the tiled floor had to come up, he won the case against polypipe and they paid for the work, I use the Polyplumb / polypipe gear quite a lot as sometimes you can't get the Hep or JG from a local merchants were your working but i always use the Hep pipe as the JG stuff is not as flexible in my opinion...........
