Hello
My mums heating seems to be in the blink.
The control upstairs is programmed & i tested it. Boiler seems to fire up but no heat.
The wall thermostat doesn't seem to 'click' on any number.
Is this this issue?

if the boiler is firing but no heat at the rads then likely culprit is the pump, but could also be air lock, check the rads are full of water, take the centre out of the pump to see if its spinning,

if the pumps spinning and rads are full next thing is the valve, check thats moved over, you can check this with the lever at the side, it should be loose, if there's resistance ( meaning its hard to move) then its not moved over,

if the water is fine its the valve, you can move it manually with the lever at the side, it will lock in open position,

I believe rocket's mums is one of the made up plans what we were talking about the other day, so I'm assuming its a 2 port on the heating circs, If its a Y plan the valve can still be manually switched over to mid position,  |

ahh, so it is a 3 port, well same cure, the valve will switch over manually.

It's not freezing at the mo but these old people feel the cold
Went in a house yesterday & it was like a sauna, I said to the old girl 'it's really warm in here' she said 'I'm freezing!' Sitting there is a jumper etc:

Hi mate if you turn the lever at the side of port valve to manual it will get the heating and hot water on...
