no chance, wedding cake stops all that sucking stuff, and that reminds me, 26 th Feb 1982 she got the wedding cake, So I better get a card and some flowers. Isn't it lucky that her mother died at the same time, because when we visit her grave I can rob some fresh flowers while shes distracted,

I'll give that a go mate, I've no van now but my fucus is a bugger for misting up, and some mornings you can see where the wifes footprints are when we've been for a ride out in a country lane,

The Grinder disc that lasts for ever!! Here’s a wee tip I learned from a college; Most of us now use small cordless Angle Grinders, they’re invaluable in any Plumbers Tool Bag. Cutting boiler flues, cutting & chamfering UPVC soil pipes etc etc..... The simple tip is, just fit a diamond tip blade, it’ll cut most things like a hot knife through butter & it will last for years!!

the gypo's have caught on to that tip Dick, Its a gem of a tool for cutting out the cytolatic converter on diesel engined cars and vans, 2 mins and they have a valuable piece of scrap and the car/van owner has to fork out a grand plus, to get it replaced and fixed,

Those diamond discs are amazing! I cut a valley of roof tiles 5 yrs ago with one, loads of granite slabs, great for scoring blocks too, if you need odd shapes Same disc still going strong!

Another one with a grinder & it maybe a bit random; Olive recently wanted a new cooker hood for her cooker, which is in her Kitchen. So I bought her one.
However the fake SS chimney needed to be trimmed & as it’s polished SS I was shitting myself incase I made a cunt of cutting it. I consulted Utube & the method I learned was amazing, so I’ll share:
To cut it ensure you have a straight line, tape is good for that. Use one of the very thin cutting blades on your grinder. The idea is not to heat it & discolour it. It cut really well!!
Next buff the edge to get the sworf off, use one of these flap sanding discs. Again, a fantastic finish & easy to use. So I’m well happy with the results & I hope this helps someone else👍
