That's what I got called out for on that job I posted on earlier after thirty minutes running it was like Thomas the Tank Engine the system noises was special! Just a comment on flow or return issues really Rocket. I got a job where the customer removed all the radiators for decorating over the summer period a few years back. Now he didn't make a note of which side of each rad was the flow and return. He just made a note which end had the thermostatic head. Now these heads where Dandfoss type and if you don't position the head for it location on the circuit for flow or return it cause that radiator to miss behave and if you do a 50/50 mix it's even funnier looked a bit like these

I've had them making a loud hissing noise but not whistling. what was causing that pb? Pump set to high for the system which causes system noise, quite often you go to small systems and the pumps are set on 3. These modern self regulating pumps are quite good because they read what resistance is in the the system and pump there output accordingly, so as TRV's shut down the pump will reduce in its output.
