Looked at a job for an old dear and her son in law replaced her kitchen sink and fitted a monobloc tap,,,,the hot dribbles out I looked upstairs the cylinder and tank are in a cupboard in a bedroom just above the kitchen, all iron pipework. smiley-confused002asak2 she's tight for money so I'm thinking whack one of these under the sink.

Mind that's a lot of kit for the money!
About 5 years ago I went to a house with a open vent system boiler - gravity hot water and they wanted more pressure so had something similar fitted. Now it worked great but there's motor was super noisy. My job was a toilet repair so was took back at the vibration noise when the hot water turned on. It was fitted in there airing cupboard directly to the indirect tank outlet and the noise wasn't transmitted through the pipework it was just very noisy.
I asked how much and why the install because it was on a relatively new housing estate and others hadn't done this type of work. They said the the bath took to long to fill without it and the item was £90 but no mention how much for the labour.

Cheers battle. I might give it a go for the money and give her option B which will be fitting a proper pump in the airing cupboard with all the alterations,,, which will be to costly for her I think. smiley-sad027 skint Thanks for the info battle.

I have ordered one of these pumps and it should be with me Monday and once I've installed it I'll give it a review on here with some pictures.

Well I've read all the negative feedback posted and only found one on your purchase PB, out of the 199 sold - got to be worth a try so awaiting your instal thoughts.

Looks good and quick delivery, I will install it next week ... Do you put it under sink to sort out problem outlet or does it go on hot water pipe cominng out of cylinder? Boost all hot water outlets?
