Why no sealant on bath wastes? Just curious 'cos I do. Save It's not needed dc, but more than that I've now developed a real hatred of scraping the old mastic off these joints. For me, by not using it I'm making the next person to take the joint apart life's a little easier. I agree Tappy on both counts there mate.

they'll be ok in the garage for now, don't plant them out till after May and only then if its warm, Cucumber are very unstable, I grow at least 20 from seed knowing i'll only end up with about 4 or 6 by the time July is here, I don't know why they die, but they always do, I'll not old out much faith then tom for my re-potted Q plants! I've got some timber and polythene ready so as soon as I'm up to it I'll have a go at building a little greenhouse for them.

Just fitted one, the old one was cracked & literally fell apart as I touched it. I didn't use silicone, all nice & tight. No leaks. Fingers crossed. All good & lovely weather here, weeded my rear borders & swept Using silicon on these things just throws the washers out the sides when you tighten up,,,good move rocky mate. Cheers PB More plumb on Monday.

Cheers PB More plumb on Monday. Good man !! and I haven't forgotten about you helping me on an installation rocky. Neither have I PB My plan for this year is now to start my outdoor work in a week or 2 and I'll then be busy busy. In Sept I'm starting evening L3 core gas at Langley college 2 nights a week. Then straight after I'll do the ACS part (so it's still fresh in. Y head). I might try to cut the outside wide to 3/4 days a week to still do some plumb, I just have to see what I get in. I'm going to try to coin as much as I can outside before the burn out sets in! I also want a bigger van next year with 3 seats so I can get rid of my car. I've got a plan & hopefully it'll work out Cheers PB.

Cheers Tom
It's all in my plan. Once I get the course finished & ACS i think I want to go in these manufacturers fault finding courses so I have an idea of what problems & possible fixes. I've also thought about trying to go employed for 6-12 months with a busy engineer or company to use their talent & soak up as much as I can. All just ideas but it's a start. Once I'm doing it like plumb it falls into place & the confusion & rocket science subside into what are simple tasks & fixes.
