Yes, speaking to PB earlier about unvented courses. I think you get some prior reading ready for the short test.
I'm hoping to do my course this year if I can get to work in some systems to give me the heads up
Who do you work for EF?

Nice one endfeed. You get a big fat book to read for your written exam and you will also do a fault finding exam. qwerty

Oddly enough I got a reminder through the post today that my certificate expires in May.
The last time......
The assessor took us through a test paper pointing out things that we usually get wrong, so you have to try and remember what they are although you can write them down on note paper.
We had a test in the afternoon with nothing to stop us conferring with each other and you can look the answers up in a book.
A little bit of practical (setting a PRV) is involved.
Some fault finding.
No one fails the test.
Tappy,

If I remember rightly the exam is open book.

Just done it for the first time. It is open book and you get to redo any questions (multiple choice) that you get wrong.
I found most of the answers had to be looked up in the British standards docs rather than being things you'd be likely to just 'know'. Must admit that my head was hurting by the end.

Yes I did that one (WRS) last year EF.
Again, you just look the answers up in a book and the assessor also puts you right on the tricky questions.
No one fails!
