nowt wrong with that endfeed, I take it you've just missed out the flow on the downstairs rads, have your by pass on the towel rail, |

Way back when I was at college (hey, it's not that long ago  ) I was told a simple way to describe a "two pipe central heating system" is that - "The hot water in each radiator returns DIRECTLY to the boiler to be re-heated". |

Tom, I work in hospital as a porter for now and learning plumbing at night school.In the hospital I see the radiators have the same pipe on both sides of the radiator. There's only one pipe going along the wall under the radiators . Why is that?

click to enlarge I did a towell rad ,on a combi boiler for a pal few years ago, pulled floor boards up and existing rad had flow to both side!and a return going back to boiler!  I sat there for ages ,could nt get my head around it!!!!them ping !!!!!!!!the penny dropped its a one piped system my pal said it worked very well ... smiley-chores035bathtime |
