Mmmm... so you mean it needs live from a spur? You can pull a permanent live from the wiring centre rocky.

We're talking about the boiler wiring rockey, that diagram shows L,N,E, in a modern boiler there'll Be L,N,E,PL ( pump live) , this is because all boilers need the pump to overrun, meaning when the stats are satifyed the pump carrys on for a minute or so to take the heat away from the boiler, if it doe't have that constant live, it can't have a pump over run,

Rocket I find if you take each item indervidually then make that work at home on the bench you'll gain a better understanding.
This then aids fault find within the total circuit.
