when I did boilers, my choice was Baxi/potterton/main, they're £200/300 cheaper than the german boilers, they perform just as well but are a bit noisier, Thats the way in Wigan, people go for budget deals, I'd only fit german one if they insisted,

Only fitted 3 years ago but kept breaking down. So the council replaced it today. I've got the baxi in my van. I'm going to put it in a wooden frame & take bits off & the fix it. Practice. It's in perfect condition. Just needs the plate heat exchanger changing. We fitted a magnaclean too. The custard was rude as feck. They had 3 dogs, bigguns, they were ok but the house stinks of dog. They obviously can't smell it. Stinking. At 5pm she asked how much longer. My mate said as long as it takes or we can get a sparky back tomorrow to wire it up. That shut her up.

He's got a conversation starting tomorrow. Hswc out & combi in. Doing it over 2 days. Unfortunately I can't go tomorrow but I'll go Friday to fit the boiler. It's in Guildford. Should be a good job.
