I'd bung the tank mate, I've done shit loads of work on heating systems on just bungs but you've just got to be sensible.

One job I did on a massive system I removed 3 rads and added 3 in different places all done on bungs. 1787034013 yippee

The room is being renovated anyway, no flooring down!!! Ive got to elbow pipes at top ,pass into wall on right(cupboard)then pass through wall into kitchen to feed new designer rad,doing it tomorrow ,then going back to fit fancy rad!!ill get loads of pics-!!!

Do you use lever valves? I tend to use them now as the others seize up. They look better too imo

I've bought crome trv with a strip of anthracite around it,look nice will get pics when they call me back in.seen the lever valves for rads but never used them ,they sound good if don't sieze up..
