I've not seen one like that but I have seen them with 2 tappings under neath which are flow and return, maybe that was a speciel made one for a unique system,

dragged this off net, what is it drain point f &r each side!!!!! At one time there was a European radiator like that & it used a single pipe system. I understand it was one connection on a steel panel radiator & a twin entry radiator valve using dip pipes. Never really took off & I’ve never fitted any.

My daughter has a radiator in her kitchen that has this central drain off point on it.

It looks very much like a centre feed radiator EF, however, it shouldn't have a flow and return each side on it. If it is it's off a Swedish district heating system from back in the 70s. My firm once had a contract for maintenance on a group of flat-lets where all the radiators where centre feeds you had to have a special Swedish radiator valve too which was a gate operated on/off for the radiator. The piping of the system was looped in through this valve so when you turned the radiator off the system would still need to circulate through the bottom part of this valve. The fun we would have trying to get a normal radiator to work on this system (because they where 1/4 the price of these special centre feed radiators and they wouldn't ever work in fact it would fuck up the rest of the system. I'm sure I've still got one of these special Swedish valves on my van, if I have I'll post up a photo of it. I eventually got quite good at repairing them and I was a little disappointed when we lost the contract

Me rambling about these CF radiators and forgetting to mention the DPV for balancing the circuit!
