I remember reading in a corgi book once about a spray, you spray the surrounding area with it and it becomes fireproof,,,did I dream it, has anyone else heard of it, I vividly remember the advert and then presenter sprayed his hand, then held the blowtorch on his hand, I know at my age the ole memory plays tricks, am i going crazy ?? please someone else remember it, That's true Tom and I think you can still get it.

I had a few, find they start to fraying around the sides then fall to bits. Out of all my Matt's I've had these last the longest (monument that is) To prevent that happening, roll it up and keep it in a cutting of waste pipe.
