Went to look at a leaky rad today, turns out it's not exactly a rad, more like a space heater thing in a really annoying cover. It's piped up same as a rad with a flow and return, even got a TRV. The leak looks to be coming from where this red capped thing connects, apparently it's been going on for weeks. What the bejeesus is this? Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Ian's spot on, although I've never seen these automatic ones before, just the manual ones and guess what, they also leak!! Great fun trying to get those white tin interlocking panels all lined up and back together eh JC?

Haha, yeah the tin box was a right pain in the arse. I think this was leaking from where it attaches on to the manifold, it's in a converted church with a plant room and two huge boilers, was thinking of telling them to get a commercial engy in cos I'm buggered if I know the first thing about such a system if anything goes wrong. Looks like mapress fittings on the pipework too, so I'd be double buggered.
