I've got to agree Dick, there's no technoligy behind spreading muck on a wall, you can train a chimp in half an hour to do it, Its at best a semi skilled bingo players hobby between games, I could say the same about pipefitting, and dick still can`t work a saw and a spanner. Sorry state of affairs is that.. laughing-dog-smiley-emoticon

I can use a saw too, but was having my problems with a junior hacksaw, but hey I’m genuine & only human. I’m an artisan perfecting my Craft, while you’ll always be a cowboy - jack of all trades & master of none. A Plasterer is just a jumped up Labourer, throwing shit everywhere!!

Yes you right on that! i remember as a YTS, watching the plumbers brickup and plaster after installing a backboiler, after removing old back coal kettles, bit of vermiculite etc! Then last job fit the fire on friday,(which hopefully hid the plastering😂) was really hard/varied graft crowsfoot, and Ive got no clue as to your question aswell One firm I worked for we pulled out all the rubbish from the old unit to get to the boiler then built a wall in front and all the rubble that came out simply went back in! I wonder what todays HEATAS regulations would say to that! Good work I say👍😇you upcycled, and saved enviromental damage by not transporting rubble to a landfill, talking bout saving the enviroment, Years ago I did a combi conversion for an eco warrior. She was always on my case, bout this n that. End of the job ,im loading all the copper and old tank ready to add to my scrap funds. She says “now you promise me faithfully ,that will all be recycled wont it?” Of course I said , dont you worry, but Im struggling for space in the van, could you help me out ,and recycle all the cardboard please😇 “Of course i can😆” I love eco warriors

Proper plumbers spanners? You use cheap ebay shite and how the fuck do you have problems with a junior hacksaw? It will be a long time before you have "perfected your craft" if you cant even do that or have to ask about fitting a glorified shower head. You couldn`t even work out the area of a room properly so I dread to think how many undersized heating systems you have installed. As for you being genuine, you are full of shit. Like lying about me being a tax inspector and you owning a £100 toolbag when you cry about spending £16 on a spanner and wear cheap ebay strides. You call me a cowboy but it looks like you have tried to burn your flat down in that scrapheap combi boiler video you posted. Can you not afford a heatmat or something?

It's a high pressure shower system he made you fuck wit. High pressure? you mean mains pressure.. It`s a cheap cunt`s combi boiler. Complete with solder snots, scorches and wiring that looks like it has been set out by a 8 year old. It`s shonkey and touching the pipework and I`ll bet that pipework is noisy as fuck. Probably charged some old dear for the parts he has used aswell.

I can't imagine a plasterer making something like that as most of them can barely string a sentence together. Plasterers are the worst trades on site,, messy and unhelpful to others and they certainly don't know how to clear up after themselves.

I agree GW and Ian's the worst of the lot, very below par workmanship smiley-chores037 binsout I think people around Wigan employ him as part of the care in the community scheme.

aw c'mon guys, Lets not discriminate, Its not Ian's fault he's a plasterer, his family probably drove him to it, and just because a plasterer never ever needs to make emergency call outs to a life threatening unplastered wall situation, does't mean they're less important, We've got to encourage our lesser semi skilled operatives and make them feel as important as ourselves because we are the Kings of the building trade, respected by all and impersonated by wanna be plumbers, we are bigger than that, So cut the lad some slack, he's human Too,,,,just needs a bit of dress sense is all,

Well cunt, when you’re as fast as me & to high standards, then you’d get my respect. It’s highly unlikely a scruffy Gypo Plasterer Cowboy could match me. So fuck off back to your Tax Office & tidy up that fucking mess!! tomplum.boards.net/thread/3193/new-build-plumbing

Highly skilled, working with water, gas & electrics, employing all aspects of all the sciences. Responsible for safe water & sanitation - the health of the whole nation is reliant on Plumbers. I guess a manky Plasterer will always try join our ranks, but oh no, once a manky Plasterer always a manky Plasterer!!!
