Dickie p is quite right
one of my pals went to service a boiler in a loft, it had a three pin plug in the wall next to it. So the lad started to service it...half way through he got up to go and get something from the van. He accidentally put his hand onto the three pins of the plug that were facing upwards
yep you get it, he got a terrible shock, thought he was going to die, lucky he didnt
Some twat had wired live - clock - boiler. So the plug wasn’t doing too much
talking of electrics, I had to re wire an s plan today and then after that a new boiler and cylinder was blowing fuses. New build, turned out the lad had wired the dual stat wrong, blowing fuses. Both all sorted now. Tomorrow is a ground source heat pump
thing is lads the more you practice with your multimeter the more comfortable you ll become
you can go on an electrical course...Worcester , Baxi and Honeywell do em
