thats strange, i would't think it was the valve if some taps are ok, I'd suspect a blockage towards the bathroom, smiley-confused002asak2
edit,,second thoughts, why would both taps be poor, ??
edit again further thoughts, the sink cold will be different cos it don't go throught the valve, so why is the sink hot ok and the bath not??
just thinking aloud,,,

I hope not
All the pipe are concealed.
Now I'm shitting myself
Saying that, when we put the water back on the taps were open, when closed for 30 secs the water was ok for 5 secs then slowed to a stop so I'm sure it's not a blockage

If your hot in the kitchen is fine then it is not the combination valve, your kitchen cold will be straight from the mains and your bathroom cold will be a balanced supply from the valve, so I'd be wondering is there a TMV controling the bathroom hot taps ?

In not sure, the pipes go behind the valve over to the kitchen.
The pipes out of the cylinder go through the valve
My mate did make a comment on 2 15mm pipes he said went into kitchen.

No, they're cheap taps.
The shower had a new cartridge last April.
All has been fine until last Wednesday

Taps maybe cheap rocky but you could have a TMV on the system controlling the hot to basin and bath I see it a lot now days and is done this way on new builds now.

Well I'm watching this with interest cause I would of went for a blockage since the kitchen is ok for hot water and has the most important thing pressure and hot.
My next move before I parted with any money since we've found contamination would be to flush the hot lines with the cold mains directly after the valve(in the image posted) to prove its free of any blockage.

its all good stuff battle but you have to be there to realy get the feel, One thing to learn though never jump to conclusions, go to the van and have a think, you normally can't think with a customer sitting on your shoulder talking to you, you need space and quiet, or ay least I do, and those houses where the lady of the house is watching those brain dead programs like jeramy kyle, they always have it loud gets right up my nose,
