Well, people think it’s a shitty gimmick tool
But ...
It’s never failed me
Today I had to fit tap revivers to basin, stiff as heck, taos started moving, no mercy, sweating, go to the van & get the splitter set out, bish boscsh job done in 10 mins.
Anyone else got one?

Anyone else got one? I don't have one mate and I'm sure it is good but I don't fuck about with taps as I just swap them out and Chuck the old ones in the scrap pile.

I've been close to buying one a couple of times, I do change tap cartridges if they're a common type, have struggled a few times getting them out but never failed yet. I like the idea of the tap splitter just not the price - must only cost £5 maximum to make so the £40 price tag is what puts me off. I'll happily pay £40 for a tool, don't get me wrong, but I hate rip off profit margins, if they were £15 every plumber in the country would have one.

I paid £22 a few years ago. Paid for itself quite a few times. I also agree that changing taps is far better but needs must sometimes

Have you got the one in the case with the extra bits or the compact one? It’s in a plastic bag JC. No posh cases for me!

I agree with PB, a new set for £30, its a no brainer fucking about with them,, I try that with customers, but often they have matching bath and basin taps - not like up north. They're a bit posh round these parts, and small things like matching taps keep them awake at night. So often end up putting in revivers to keep the peace.
