Basically, what’s the best way to cut it?
I then believe there’s a fitting to put in it to then go up in plastic.
Never done it but had an enquiry.

I just use a 4" grinder with those super thin disc blades for cutting and it's been trouble free. As for the fitting that's decided by what the replacement fitting is - normally it's been a rubber joint with Jubille clips which suits the 6" cast to 4" Polypipe up here.

I've never used one of those fittings it would look rather a neat finish compared to the Jubille clips. |

when i walk about my eye catches soil pipes and there are so many bad jobs I see, I think thats why I turned to drink, look at this in a town centre, there should be police stopping it, Attachment Deleted |

the worst place for it is Blackpool, they made so many big houses into boarding houses in the 60's and just BB type builders doing anything they wanted, soil pipes running round the side of the house, oooohh , still, live and let live hey,, Its a plumbers thing looking at pipes on holiday, we can't help it,,  |
