Thanks for the video, Tom. Also thanks to Sir Dick for letting us have a look at his pump. Better bang a patent in quick, before Rothenberger or someone steals your idea. Aren’t Rothy tools completely rubbish now, at one time they were great too. Like most German stuff now, just as shite as the rest!! |

True, nothing's made as good as it was. At least I didn't say Silverline would be after your invention. Their stuff really is shite. As for Wooshitter Botch, has anyone seen the latest Heating Geek Youtube vid? He changes a faulty Greenstar flow restrictor and found it also had debris in it. Not uncommon in a boiler, but being WB, the debris was chunks of plastic. He pulled it out, and the plastic was just crumbling between his fingers. Absolute shite.
Hilmor used to be good too, but their GLM benders are now being made abroad instead of The UK. Have heard that they aren't the same quality, even though they look the same. However, the company (Bend It Now) that used to make the benders for Hilmor in UK are making and selling the original quality GLMs direct.
If anyone wants quality pipe benders - this is the place to get them -
