Went to a leaky bath tap earlier, can’t get heads off tap. Tried force, hammer, wiggling it, wd40, talking to it, no joy.
Told LL, not happy, what can I do he asks? Well I tell him it’s the vanity basin out, change taps & vanity back in. He thinks is I can fit down the side of the bath. I said yes I’m quite small but even I can’t fit in there!
Anyway he’s agreed my plan
No other option, taps are running not dripping, a bucket each 5 mins.
Told the tenant to keep lever valve in airing cupboard shut.
Friday job
Any thoughts on it? It’s hard plumbed too. Just no chance I can get my arm it to do it ‘touchy feely’

Once you have the basin out rocky you should find it a fairly straightforward change, and if it's hard piped up into the taps then cut them down and whack a couple of flexi's on. good luck mate and take some bMaM72ureaAMEVc6b1_1 camera

Good earner, I need it now my outdoor works is ending. Cheers all

Have you tried extreme waggling rocket? I feel your pain but I was expecting to see a picture of a 60 year old tap. Waggle and chisel lever to the point where you mark the tap I bet they come off. Although its easy for me to say from the comfort of my chair.

Although its easy for me to say from the comfort of my chair. I tried with a screwdriver to prise it off, hitting it as hard as I thought as I didn’t want to damage the bath, wd40 & went back 2hrs later to try again, nothing. Stuck fast. I’ll do a video when they’re off & im home, I’ll smash them off for all to see. I was expecting a quick job, grub screw off, heads off, buy or order new valves.

Sound like some bastard has superglued the heads on, I'm guilty of that myself as they keep coming loose and i get a phone call.

You certainly get some awkward jobs, you do !!

Screwdriver wedged in the gap on the side with the hole for the grub screw, then tap under the protruding bit of the handle with your grips, it'll come off.
