do you have to fit a certain type depending on your cistern or can you fit any one that takes your fancy?

The fluid master works on high and low pressure systems,it comes with a restricter if pressure is high in the property. I like how you can reverse that viva one from bottom entry to top entry.great video plumber boy p.bππππ

If it fits in you can fit whatever you want. Those skylo multi valves are pretty good, your Torbeck will just need a new diaphragm washer, very easy to replace.

I've not had much success in changing the diaphragm washer on torbeks, siamps, had few call backs, never had a call back on delchams diaphragm washers on ball valves though πππ

Up to the customer but some times the installation demands to be there no more than necessary so diaphragm is fitted.
this is worth a watch

I always change the whole thing as call backs cost you money and because you can't charge much for changing a diaphragm washer in the first place you can end up on the slippery slope of a job. Fluid master valves are good but well overpriced bearing in mind you can get a brass shank valve for about Β£7.

Decided definitely going to change it so its probably going to be the fluidmaster pb recommended or this viva bottom entry brass shank Β£7.98 one from toolstation. www.toolstation.com/shop/p35993
