This is a more annoying type to use, but you'd get the idea in this vid.

its a manifold, you stick the bottom part of it down the drain,It allows for low level connections, If you stick the toilet a bent pan connector in the normal way, then you will not be able to connect the shower low enough, but with this contraption, as you call it, you can connect all three at low level,

Didn't know anything like that existed. Looks more suitable for new work than maintenance work though. It didn't seem to have any 0 rings in it for that junction to seal it or in the drain connection? Interesting though.

Yeah, never seen one but I see how it works.
So it goes above ground or under floor or what? It looks tidy.
The profit a shower on the ground floor is getting the fall on a pipe. It’s either put tray on legs or go on floor?
What’s the best way for best finish? I’d say in floor.

The one I linked to is known to us plumbers locally as " an elephants foot" because of its shape, Its better chiselled into the floor so the top is level with the floor level, the bottom is 110mm so it needs a socket to joint to the drain, the top is a normal soil socket size so a short piece od 110mm pipe then a pan connector into the 110mm pipe, the other connections are 40mm you can reduced them or cap them off,

Put a sketch up of layout and sizes of what you propose to do AJ and you'll get more ideas of the easiest and cheapest way forward.

Is this used vertically and not horizontally. If i chisel into the concrete floor do i have to bury basin and shower pipes in to floor too. Can i use the standard 32mm/40 mm pie and bury it or is there a different pipe for burying it. or use denso tape

If you want your shower tray directly on the floor (the best way) you will need to channel the floor and maybe easier with a boss pipe rather than a soil manifold.

Have you got a waste outlet already or is it a blank canvas with all options open? You can chase floors for all pipework or have waste pipes running around the room and boxed in etc
