Unvented

A recent course presenter told me that the whole issue of competence is being looked at again at a high level and  it is being recognised that having a card or badge or certificate does not prove competence in anything.

This is what the hand out said about it.

A competent person is someone with the correct S-K-E-T-U-A

S = Skills

K = Knowledge

E = Experience

T = Training

U = Understanding their own limitations

and very importantly

A = Attitude (a good one of course).
