Can't see the size of the pipe but even a 28mm honeywell can be had for around £30. If its just one valve gone and they are saying all three need replacing that is pretty bad.
I suppose even to change one if the head can't be replaced you'd probably need to drain down a little bit. That would take me a day and PB 10 minutes. Then around the valve labelled hot water, it looks like there is quite a bit of space on the pipe even if the new valve is a different size. It would take me a week but no doubt PB could do it inside an hour.
Either way down here, something like 200-300 feels about right ?? But what TF do I know !!!
As for £800 - that's bad. Was the customer someone who obviously had cash? Even so that's surely no way to run a business? IF they were elderly/vulnerable etc that would make it 100x worse in my book.

It was a good size house mate and they were a nice family. The first company told them if one valve has failed the others will follow which will mean draining down each time, money grabbing bunch. This is a pressurised system so I just dumped the pressure out and swapped it out, no big drama as long as you work smart and quick.

Hi endfeed. The lady has decided to replace the basin and toilet so I've told her to go for a basin and unit set up, that way I can access the 15mm feeds in the wall and bring them out and the unit will hide any destruction I create

well in my area, a poor working class area, Britsh Gas quoted £900 for changing 8 rad valves, So thats cheap for your area PB, you're not charging enough, £900 !!!!! Robbing twats & people pay it cos they’re afraid of others ripping them off
