Attachment DeletedAttachment Deletedgiven this tap on Monday and told to install it! It's still on my van, I don't feel comfortable fitting this. When it's fitted the tap just holds in place by X2 tiny grub screws(same as what would hold a mixer tap spout!!) What's your thoughts? Would you trust it?

Don't do it endfeed! They are known for coming loose and blowing off leaving hot and cold shooting up at the ceiling.
I fitted one a few years ago and when I heard they were blowing off I rang my customer to ask if I could superglue the grub screws in.

Cheers guys, as I suspected👍👍👍 new lad started at our place, a right Mr know it all! Not long out his time. He has been off and I picked his jobs up this easy fit tap was one of them, I've been out to the job and repaired mixer tap with tap revivers. I'll give him a round of fucks next week.glad I didn't fit it!!!

Two thoughts:
1/ Yes he does sound like Plumber to the Queen (with a slight west country twang) but good man for going public - as he said if Bristan sued him it would be a royal pain even if he eventually won.
2/ I can't believe a company with a reputation would allow a tap like that to be released. Remind me to add Bristan to my blacklist.

I fitted one a couple of years ago, it wasn’t that easy. Once I’d fitted it then I realised it should’ve been easy!
