yea you gotta be careful out there, there is a lot of shite on ebay, I'm guided by the price, if it looks too good for the price, its a fake everytime, A fool and his money is soon parted, If paypal no longer protects me, I won't buy with them anymore because, I am that Fool, Its not my fault, being a poor northener from a working class family, I've been conditioned to seek out, the very best quality for the very least amount of money, and no matter how many times I get butt shafted, I still cannot spent 10p if i can get an item for 5p that looks the same,
Nice heads up Battle! That's me out. Plenty of shops are on t'net now, and in my experience, good to deal with. Pity debit cards aren't covered the way credit cards are.
Seems Covid has exposed credit cards as issue for cancelled holiday money returns too so you need to be super cautious when spending.
I had a £65 Ryanair ticket which they cancelled. They wanted to give me a travel voucher and made me fill in loads of online forms. If I wanted a cash refund which I did I'd need to call their call centre and wait for hours on the phone - no thanks.
I simply started a Paypal Resolution Centre case, Ryanair seemed to ignore it about within about 2 weeks got my full refund. No phone calls, no hassle just cash in account.
