It’s the job from hell
But
Paint walls or gloss woodwork first?
I gloss but I’ve been told usually walls first
My reasoning is you can easily wipe paint off of gloss but getting gloss off the wall is impossible

Great finish Endfeed! Painting a bit myself at the moment and Rockys right, job from hell! Was using the paper masking tape stuff. Will try the frog tape. The washing up afterwards is the worst bit! I'd say wallpapering would be even more fun

That was my theory once, but doing walls last and cutting down to along the top of skirting is a bit fiddly. Much easier to do walls first then cut the skirts into the wall is easier.
But that frog tape may make me change back if you can use it and save loads of time cutting in.

My twopenneth. I've given up glossing virtually anything as it always yellows. I'm not joking I read its something to do with the EU mandating certain chemicals be reduced in it so it just does't work anymore and yellows. I use vinyl paint in its place if inside.
