Hi,
Other than getting someone out to try and powerflush my system is there anything that I can try? I have 3 radiators on my system that seem to be blocked.
Thanks,

If it's got one check the F&E tank in the loft to see if that's got fluid in it - while checking it's level view how much crap is inside the tank.

Where are the radiators - upstairs or downstairs? If downstairs, it's often a balancing problem as Toms says. First thing try turning all the working rads off and see what happens to the ones that aren't working.

Did you try turning them off & turning on one to see if it works? Then do the sabe to the rest.

What makes you think they are blocked? If they are fully blocked solid a powerflush may not work, best to repipe or replace the rads. Powerflushes are good for partial blockages and cold spots in rads
Is it plastic or copper?

I've had a plumber look at it but they cant get back to try and fix it for a few weeks. Its plastic pipe, I've taken the radiator off and cleaned that out. I might just get the plumber to run new pipes and put a new radiator on.

So I've managed to get water flowing to the blocked radiator but it still doesn't get very hot.. I've ordered a replacement radiator but I'm wondering while I'm fitting it should/can I replace the 10mm pipe for 15mm or will this potentially cause more problems?

Repipe is possible but can you do it & how much damage will it cause. Everything can usually be charged/fixed for £££
Are you thinking of repipe the whole 10mm system?

I'm renovating my house and was hoping to change over the 10mm for 15mm as I go. So there will be a period of time where both 10 and 15mm are used.

Obviously bigger pipes are less prone to block
I wouldn’t want 8/10mm in my gaff
