Dafty dear boy, all you need to do is ask!! A Ladder TR sits higher up on the wall matey - 200-300mm from the floor to the bottom & you use Straight radiator valves. That just looks ‘Daft’😂😂🥺 Nope it looks fine but I am aware you have a feminine side which might explain why you're happy to give interior design comments. I did it higher up the wall with chrome pipes coming out of the wall in the other bathroom but decided against here. Partly because the otherside of the stud wall is the airing cupboard so would need to remove cylinder, pump etc to get under the floorboards (or from below which also would be a ballache.)

I feel over tightened as murdering fittings to death is common. However. It's also possible with either not deburring the pipe or the pipe had a bit bending former damage possibly? interesting you mentioned about deburring pipe battle. I was going to ask the Brew cabin members if they deburr or not?🤔🤔🤔

If i cut anything with a saw, I will deburr, If I cut it with a cutter, no, i don't the cutter puts a chamfer on the pipe so. its not needed,

I always de-burr my copper tube after using cutters, he lied!!!
Never done it & don’t see the need👍
