Hi guys, any idea what I need to connect this to my bayonet point with please. The old cooker had a hose that screwed in but as you can see, this has an external thread on it. Cheers JJ Attachment Deleted

Thanks for the quick reply Tom. I now have a mate coming round ( gs reg) Just tried to fit it into the space it’s going in. Bearwood Brown couldn’t have fucked this up better. The cooker is 60cm wide and the space is only 56cm wide 😂😂😂😂. Now got to alter the bloody kitchen. Judy’s spitting feathers and my black eyes will return to normal fairly soon

I was sure the old cooker was 60cm wide too, but apparently ( really) wasn’t. What’s that old saying us joiners have? Measure twice, cut once or summat.. This Alzheimer’s better do one soon.

Well, everything is conspiring against me today. Managed to get the end 600base unit out and have successfully cut that down to 500mm ( thinking new drawer/ front and door will do) got my cordless drill out to put the unit back together and it doesn’t fookin work. Sounds like the gearbox in it has given up the ghost. Only other drill I have is my 110v sds+ drill, but no conversion chuck to take ordinary wood bits. Smallest size sds drill I have is 8mm ( too big for what I want) Grrrrrrr. If I had hair, I could pull it out.😥😥😥 ps, cooker is now in and working. Phoned a mate ( gs reg) who came round about ten o clock and was literally here half an hour. Charged me a tenner 😉😉

he's a good mate JJ, bet it cost him £5 in petrol , £3 for the bush, so he'll have small change left over after a pint, ( when the pubs open )

Oh yes, pubs. I remember those. Whoever thought you would dream that one day you would be allowed to prop up the bar supping a pint of ale? Just the simple, ordinary pleasures in life. When I'm allowed to do that small thing, I won't ever take it for granted.

Professor Gloomy and Professor Gloomier from the government's advisory committee which is basically running the country have decreed that alcohol increases "substantially" the risk of catching Covid-19. Can only guess whats coming next....

The only time most of them go to a pub is for a photo opportunity! There is talk of them opening, but not selling alcohol..

I think our 'masters' have completely lost the plot. So has anyone who goes along with this madness.
George Orwell's book was 37 years too early.
