Coming from a combi boiler to this is trial & error still. So you’re saying you have a Combi boiler heating an unvented cylinder? If that’s the case you could Plate Heat the cylinder, this would give you a far better HW recovery rate. If it’s a 24KW Combi, the output to CH(& cylinder) will be limited. I’d like confirmation of the way it’s piped up & wiring, before I can confirm your set-up mate👍 Thought I'd give you a hand there Dick.

I’d like confirmation of the way it’s piped up & wiring, before I can confirm your set-up mate👍 No it’s a heat only boiler, not a combi Ah, I see Rocky👍👍 Unfortunately, cylinders have differing coil sizes & that can dramatically effect your HW recovery rate. There’s a strong Skool of thought & argument for a HW priority system if you have a high HW consumption.

We’re not really high hot water users. 3/4 showers a day, washing up, Rct Jnr bubble bath sometimes, hair wash for Rct Jnr & her indoors 2/3/4 times a week, just normal really
