Didn't know about the other mistakes. Does seem a bit accident prone. Agree Tom's are best, and Steve Lav is a bit like Yanky version of him. Always interesting to see how they do thinks differently other side of the pond, eg. never seem S L bend a pipe.
Next level!

PB plumber was also the one that fitted a new stop tap on a job, put a drain off above the stop tap....all good and then directly above that a non return valve in Also fitted a three pin plug connector to his wet vac cable and then everyone pointed out it was the wrong way round , had it come disconnected the three pins on the exposed side are now his death sentence I do admire the efforts these people put into making YouTube videos, I couldn't do it and wouldn't want to. He's not a bad plumber I just think he's more focused on making videos and polishing pipes. When you look at people like Tom or Steve lav it's very real, no shiny tools - old tools....old methods....blood & sweat.....job done My thoughts exactly PB and perfectly worded:- "When you look at people like Tom or Steve lav it's very real, no shiny tools - old tools....old methods....blood & sweat.....job done!"

I'm not convinced there's enough in there! He's very passionate about the trade 👍👍👍

Yes, I'm always a bit wary on the rare occasion I see soldering that looks like they forgot to put solder in the joints. Would rather have a bit too much - not snots or candle runs, just bit of a blob.
Sounds like PB has plumbing in his blood, if that's possible. Until recently he was using his grandfather's ancient Record benders on the job.

I bought my bender in 1987 because, this local firm who does council refurbs was looking for sub contactors, i phoned them, they asked 3 questions. 1.. name 2.. have you got a 714 ( a tax exemption card) which all subbies needed then 3.. have you got a bender I went out and bought one , I've still got it, a Hilmor it cost £81 It paid for itself in a month and is as good today as it was in 1987, I 'bought some new guides due to losing them and the bender is going out tomorrow, stay tuned, I'll take my camera as well, I know I know I know, I'm retired but I just can't help myself,,,

It'll all end in tears.
Remember folks. If you need a new, quality bender don't buy a Hilmor. They're not the same now as the company that used to make them in UK for Hilmor lost the contract to the Chinkys. If you still want an original quality British made Hilmor bender, you can still get them from the company that used to manufacture for Hilmor. They now make them under their own name -
They also do a rebuild kit for your worn out Hilmor -

I’ve the same Hilmor Handibender Tom & I don’t use it on-site, I treasure it too much & would hate if it got nicked. I use a 25 quid one I bought in Screwfix a few years ago & it’s honestly just as good. Crazy getting attached to tools!! I must’ve bought my Hilmor in the early 80’s. Here’s what I did yesterday with my cheapo one👍

Top quality Woody👍👍 By the way, that PB Plumbing’s copper bending videos are very good. After Toms, they’re the best I’ve seen on Utube.
