Last time I dropped an acro prop on my shower tray and chipped it. Amazing it didn't ruin it. This time on my second last tile and the bastard fell into the tub and caused a small chip. Maybe the size of the end of a felt tip pen and about 1mm deep. I should have asked on here but was in a rush. Made by the same people that make the Fugi so maybe its not a total ripoff ? I was first looking at there £23 filler kit but think my ding is too small and I'd make it worse. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001RQ27VQ/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1DAFTY YOU FKING CLUMSY DICK. ARGGGGHHHHHH !!!!

Oh god its that stuff...I one fitted a nice toilet, got it all siliconed in and the seat on and like an idiot I thought I'll just give those seat fixings one more tighten as the customer was ultra picky and the screwdriver jumped out of my hand and landed point down on the rim and took a chuck out. I immediately tried to rub it better with my finger but no it had gone deep.
I rushed to Homebase and came back with that, it didn't work as its a very grey white and if anything looked worse, I had to fork out for a new pan.

Do those acrylic baths get covered in a layer of thick paint? It looks to me like a paint chip as not deep at all. There's no fking way on earth I'm getting that bath out ! I'd have to redo the entire bathroom pretty much starting from the walls. On the plus side the manufacturer says to take a normal sheet of paper and if the bath looks greyer/darker then 90% of the time its the right colour. Lets see !!! Mind you I don't have to sell this to the customer just live with it myself. I dunno.....fingers in my ears lalalalala

Was this you WF? From the Amazon reviews: A year ago we had a plumber repairing a leaking toilet cistern in the bathroom and he put all his metal tools in the bath while he was working. Later we noticed that where his wrenches and spanners had been there were six or seven areas where the surface of the bath had been scraped, plus several scratches and chips all around the plughole area. This looked unsightly, but we didn't want to have the whole bath resurfaced or even a new bath because of a few scrapes. Then I found this product! It comes in a Tippex-like container and has its own brush. You simply shake it for 2 minutes and then paint it on the damaged areas. Several thin layers are best and it is easy to get just a small amount on the brush and dab it on where necessary. I found a good way to fill deeper chips is to dab a good blob of the paint on so that it fills the hole and then immediately wipe the excess off with some toilet paper. Although it looks a brilliant white when it is first put on, it darkens slightly as it dries so that you don't notice that it is there. The only downside is that you have to wait 4 days for it to really harden before putting hot water in the bath, but 4 days wait is better than buying a new bath. I was so pleased with the result that I put some on a cracked tile in our shower room and the crack is no longer noticeable, and I have also put some on a radiator where there was a small area of rust - which was easier than painting the whole radiator. There is a lot of the product and as you only use a very tiny amount at a time, it should last a long time (as long as the cap is screwed on tightly) should any future damage occur.

Its some sort of gelcoat, I haven't tried it but you can take sandpaper and T cut to a bath.
I'm going to save a chunk of the bath from my next bathroom and practice on it, I will drop a tile on it and then practice. I have the £20 cramer kit as well in the van but I've never used it.

Why didn’t you protect it with sheets & many of them?

Why didn’t you protect it with sheets & many of them? Dafty Exactly. To be fair I only had one row of tiles to do and thought I'd be v careful. I was mostly thinking about tile cement. I didn't expect I'd lob a fking tile in ! Thank God it only happened from low level. Oh well at least it will match my shower tray. I'll give an update when I've done it and maybe before/after pics if this stuff is any good.

Dafty, do you think you should change the signature line at the bottom of your posts to - 'your boiler is in safe hands, but your shower or bath is fecked if I go anywhere near it.'
