They’re soldered on, so no water in the pipe. Expensive fuckers eh?!!! Tom had a video of a copper tube repair with copper wire, perhaps our host will pop it up for you?? He’s a nice guy & salt of the earth👍👍

There is something called a kibosh or whatever but its a bulky bastard and probably wouldn't fit where a pipe has been nailed.

Good luck with soldering one on with water in the pipe. Two things are against you if you try this - first the water will carry the heat away making it difficult to get the solder up to temp, and the water will create steam that will blow the solder out. Soldering with even a small amount of water in a pipe takes a lot more heat, time and experience.

Also could you cut the olive with a decent pair of tin snips rather than a saw? Mine are absolute shite and one day I'll get a better pair.
