, that'll get it moving again too if you don't want to splash out on the price of the bleach!
Such extravagence. 30p at Asda.
I don't think there are any Yorkshiremen amongst us.

At risk of turning this into a mumsnet advice forum (haha) do you reckon that would remove all the limescale spots/patches you get on shower glass after its been there for say a year or more in a hard water area ? I've even tried 50:50 vineger water before and it didn't really get it all off. Maybe I need to somehow leave it for some time?

I've not tried this Mrs Hinch tip but keep meaning too as it gets cracking reviews for it! She apples the cleaning (Domestos zero) product onto kitchen towel (any manufactures paper roll type) and squeezes out the excess then press's the towel on to the glass repeats process until work area is covered and leaves for 12 hours.

ok an update. couldn't replace the mechanism like pb suggested as the bit where mechanism screws into has snapped off. I bought one off ebay for £7.45 a viva branded one link is below. I have not changed the waste yet. A question this replacement has a plastic nut on it can i take the metal nut off the other one and use it on this? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164567545252

Then rinse it off after 5 minutes. Glass will be brand new. If not, do it a couple of times or leave longer maybe 10 minutes. It burns through the shit. Don't let it lie on chrome/metallic finishes. 👍👍
