Anything that's starting off low volume like that will be a bit more expensive. Cost of tooling for the plastics manufacturer won't be cheap and a smallish production run means they aren't going to be cheap to make. Not likely to be something that's sold in millions and banged out in a Chinky factory for pennies.
The Pipe Lagger Pro is the same price.

Some days I'm so good at it it makes me smile, then other times I ask I'm self did you really turn that shite out and have to redo it.
So. I'd buy one if they get common and priced right to save some wasted time.

I would't, its a gadget, you could cut the ends a little bit out and it won't matter, and the more you do, the better you will get, getting the lagging on the pipe is the hard bit and, its usually in a tight place in a attic or a tight cupboard and usually dark so. the less tools the better, I use a junior saw,

It’s one of Dr Pipes inventions & he makes hem on his 3D Printer. But the major design fault, it only does one fucking size insulation 😂😂😂 The Daft cunt never thought about the various wall sizes😂😂😂😂😂
In fairness he’s a good guy, but is starting to be bit like a lot of these other self-promoting wankers.

I usually find that most gadgets are too expensive or more trouble than they are worth. Just like Hacks videos on you tube. As long as you have a fully fitted out workshop worth 25K you can easily make a 'gadget' to do various things for which the actual tool is available for at a few quid. Have seen a few tips which have been useful such as wrapping PTFE around a pencil to apply when fittings are close to wall. jimmy

Yes, the Fluxator. He's the only one I've seen using one. Maybe useful if you're fluxing and soldering all day, but not for me. To think we used to use our fingers.

I think I'll get a patent on my compounderator! Puts jointing compound on without your painted nails getting destroyed! Now plumbers only need to suffer PMS once a month (Pre manicure stress)

I would actually buy one of those if it meant I spilt less Boss White down my Dickies. Leaves the sorts of stains that make people wonder what you've been up to.
