Hi all. About to buy my 1st bung kit for bunging f and e tanks...was looking at the regin kit for around £20...any other cheaper recommendations before I purchase.

Ha Ha I know what you mean scouseP , every plumber gets an adrenaline kick when working in certain situations, Its what makes us different from tuthers, Ita always a buzz though when it works and when it does't, You have to prove your worth and conquer it, Always be ready or, as ready as you can be for the unexpected, I've gone home some nights and cannot sleep because I'm still buzzing from getting in the shit and getting out of it,

Speedfit 22mm or 15mm plug for the expansion pipe & a cork for the Feed👍👍👍

apparently before rubber bungs an old plumber told me they used a carrot and a potato, I've never been sure he wasn't winding me up

It's an old plumbers dodge, although I've only heard of it used on a low head of water system in order to stop the expansion pipe sucking in air when a hot tap is opened. The idea is any pressure build up in the system would be quickly released by the ejection of the spud part from the expansion pipe.
