Hi all. I am starting out self employed. It's taking a bit of getting used too! Got a question about a megaflo direct. It's starting making a puff of high pressure water in the morning from the taps. I've recharge the air gap (twice). Everything looks OK with the cylinder. Not sure where to go next. Any ideas please? Thanks. Ray

Hi Tom. Thanks for your help. I'll take a look when I'm round there next. Tbf. If the airgaps recharged and the safety valves are operating correctly I think I will advise the cust. To wait and see...

I've not done much on mega-flows catho ,however, I'd have a look at the pressure reducing valve and also see if the filter needs a clean, beyond this I don't really know what else could be causing the early morning pressure surge?

As my learned friend CF has stated, try the Inlet Group first, check replacements are available from MrCH. The other thing is the Buffer can disintegrate on these units. But lack of expansion area would generally result in discharge from the T&P valve.
