Now then. I bought mcalpine double sink wastes.

One of them now doesn’t hold water when it’s pushed down.

I can see the issue, it’s the rubber washer. On the bowl that holds water the washer holds it’s form but on the other it doesn’t.

You can see on the first photo that the rubber ‘cups’ the stainless waste & if you pull it it doesn’t stay as it should as in pic 2 which curves away from the waste.

I’ve taken it off but it just cups the waste again.

It’s only 6 months old & there were £50 so not cheap.

Any ideas?

I’m going to complain to McAlpine.
