I use this model of scraper www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261986909212Which was was brought to my attention by member (Jimmy1) if I remember correctly - it's a cracking tool if you buy the good quality blades similar to the ones supplied.

I cut it with a new blade to & bottom then use another new blade on a Stanley scraper.
Horrible job but not the worst

I hate the job and you can seemingly scrape away at that old silicon forever.
I thought the trade had cracked it in the 80s with those plastic bath trims that go behind the tiles with no silicon needed.

Yes, they work very well the upstand went under the first row of tiles and with the bath fixed firmly right up to the trim it made a lovely seal.
