I swapped the electric shower yesterday. Tested it, all ok.
The tenant messaged me earlier & said it cuts out after about 3 minutes.
The water pressure is good.
Any ideas?
I’ll go back tomorrow afternoon to look again.

Yes mate. Everything new. Apparently the overheat light comes on. He was using it red hot. I told him to turn the temperature down & it seems ok. Fingers crossed. He’s reporting back to me tomorrow I’ll update with ‘news’ Cheers |

Here in Jockoland, our incoming cold mains temperature can fluctuate 10oC between Summer & Winter.
There’s a strong likelihood the shower has overheated.

Apparently he wasn’t aware you could turn the temperature down so it was red hot or as he said as hot as the water from the kettle. I told him to turn it down & it seems ok

I agree it's a safety device called a thermal cut out which is designed to prevent the customer scalding themselves. Turn the shower off for 5 mins and by then it should have reset and be ready to go again. Sounds like you've got a half wit customer rocky  . |

We once had a customer who had constant leaks through the ceiling from her shower tray, we tried to re-seal it many times alas the water kept on coming through the ceiling.
Turned out that she was a claustrophobic and wouldn't draw the shower curtain plus she also had long showers of up to 1hr!!
There certainly is some very strange ones out there!!

Grates my cheese that, the knobs who get up at the crack of dawn so must be going to bed at about 9pm presume the rest of the planet is lazy if they're not up at that time.
Once had a customer call me three times at about 5:30, each call woke me up but I wasn't answering at that time, got pissed off enough to answer the third one and it was someone I was going out to at 3pm that afternoon checking to see if I was still coming.

Pricks. Yep. Weird I was going to buy a garden tool from a chap. Messsged him to let him know I’d collect the following day as he was a few doors away from a customer I was seeing. The prick kept messaging me all evening but the worst was still to come. t about 0700hrs he messaged again and said ‘I’m awake Jason’. That weirded me & and I told him he had something wrong with his head. He was blocked. I told my customer & he said he’s ’a weird pervert’. Maybe I dodged an anal raping at knifepoint. |
