Hello All,
Like Uncle Tom (I hope that is not offensive) I am retired these days, and wonder if anybody can help?
My Bristan VAL DSM C CD kitchen mixer tap has a small philips (ph1 or ph2 size, retaining screw - not sure which) at the rear and base of the spout in place of a grub screw.
My problem is, there is not enough room (less than 2cm) to get at it without some sort of offset screwdriver.
Does anybody know of a source short of taking the complete tap out to get at the "O" rings?
regards,
boydell.

Would a small 6mm screwdriver bit not get in there?

hello boydell and welcome to the brew cabin and, no I'm not offended by being called Uncle Tom, My nieces and nephews do it all the time, Actually it might be a good name if I ever fancied changing the , Brew cabin to uncle Toms cabin, So hey, i was about to say, if you have any screwbits for your driver, just elect the right sized bit put it in the screw and turn it with a small open ended spanner or grips but, PB's suggestion would be a better way,

I've got that and sometimes (rarely) find it handy. You know what though if I had my time again, I think Tom's solution is the best here. Its (well for me) very rare I need that kind of access but why not use a teeny tiny bit coupled with a wrench ?
