your guess is as good as anyones there Ray, It all depends on the installer, You have to look in accessible area's where a proper tradesman would have put them, ceiling/underfloor/adjacent cupboard, As has been said on here many times, New suites look good but are very unpractical and if, the installer is a, ' grab the money and run' merchant, there very likely are no valves,

Probably not... Unless there's a cupboard behind those tiles. Another case of having to wreck the place to fix it!!

I’d say no, it looks like a self contained shower valve.

Thanks all. I'm going to go along with the opinion that there isn't a concealed valve. It looks like it is a bar mixer arranged vertically. It's leaking around the controls so disassemble and new o rings it is.

It is a bristan vertical mixer. The flow valve is both knackered and discontinued. The unit is mounted on a proprietary backplate with pipe centres at about 140mm instead of the usual 150. Why oh why...

So they can sell you another one. Have been able to get Bristan parts in past, but some things more difficult now. I prefer Grohe.

I only fit bar mixer showers now days......cheap and cheerful.......when it's knackered just two nuts to undo and whack a new one on

Plus weighing in those old valves keeps the beer/Ribena tokens coming.
