What a lovely surprise

Went to buy a 50mm x 5m piece of plastic trim.

I got my £50 note out.

The chap said ‘that’s £2.06 please’

I nearly fell over. Put the note back in my wallet & paid with a few coins.

I was buying dressed 3x2 treated timber in the morning and by lunch it had gone up 45p metre crazy - this quantitative easing had to eventually catch up with he Bank of England pumping billions into the economy!
