Interested to see if this is any good, I had a Rothy tube cutter that did 32 and 40 but would just spiral down the pipe, I got a refund on that as it was a waste of time and tube. I find they can spiral but it helps to get your hand right round it and squeeze it tight as you twist !!! (Really) |

Sorry to say, Field Trials are not proving positive.
The Rothy & OX cutters have a certain spring to them, this helps wrap the tool around the waste pipe & is a great advantage in confined spaces. These only require a little hand pressure to cut. Whereas the Bix is hinged, so needs full pressure to cut.
So far, a disappointing start with this tool!!😡😡
