A woman has had her bathroom tiled. The husband took the mixer shower off.
Now, the new tiles & adhesive don’t allow enough pipe to come out of the wall to get the shower back on!
There’s probably 5mm out beyond the tile.
How do you fix this?

I should say removing the tiles or cutting the tiles won’t help or happen.
There is no play on the pipes. I’ve tried pulling them forward.
There’s also not rear access so it’s front fix on my.

Only way for me would be to remove some tiles. Can't see any way to do anything with 5mm, but that's what all the ladies say. 
Sounds like total f. up. Can you get any more tiles or are their spares?
First rule of new bathroom is sling a box of new tiles under the bath. Never know when you need them.

No more tiles. Nothing left, no spares. Apparently it’s an easy fix! Not easy for me |

Solder straight to a yorkie elbow then face fix bar mixer? Yorkies do well for this kind of mess. Ugly as sin and likely to leak but what can you do.
In fact that probably wouldn't work as the mixer would be in the wrong place.
Tiles off - only way if theres no access from adjoining room.

Can you swage the pipe with one of those cheapo drill swaging tools and then solder a small copper piece

walk away is the best solution rocky but, If i was doing this for a good friend or relative, after making clear, it might go tits up, I'd look at marking how much the shower valve will cover up, then take as much tilework away as possible by, chain drilling and chiseling away then, do as Ray suggested by unsweating the elbows off, then re sweat new lengths of pipe on, And if that goes wrong, twat more tiles off and have a stainless steel plate made to cover all the damage and fix the shower to the new stainless steel plate, Heros don't always wear masks and capes,  |

Would dicks pullers pipe expander allow you to add a bit of length to the 5mm?

Yup, Swage a socket onto the pipe in the wall.
Screwfix Liquid PTFE glue another bit of tube in, job done👍👍
