So, a customer has a pressurised system on the heating side.
He said he refilled after he changed a rad valve & the pressure will only go to 1 bar & not beyond.
Is this because of the pressure vessel or not enough mains pressure?
He said it used to read 1.5 bar.
I’ve not been to look.
Cheers all

Probably mains pressure. Is it a flat
Tell him to try filing late night or very early morning. Eg 5am Sunday morning - pressure is generally better then.

Is that reading 1.5 bar before or after the heating has been on as the gauge may stick at the last highest setting?

I’ll go & have a look. He’s quite switched on
He can’t hear it filling & no movement on the pressure guage.

It could be the plastic lever that moves and not turning the valve (very popular thing to happen).
