Interesting how they've also got natural gas running costs cheaper than the heat pump....I wouldn't have thought that and goes against what we are being taught

Regardless of a Heat Pump COP, it’s still going to run on expensive electricity. Then if you Factor in the actual temperatures produced by a HP in comparison with a Gas boiler, it’s a no brainier!!!
Of course, if you have a condensing Gas Boiler, it loves Low Temperature too!! It’ll only condense if the Return Temperatures are low enough to hit Dew Point in the Flue.
