Hello

I’ve got a customer who is complaining of noisy clicking pipes when the heating is warming up.

The pipes are upstairs under the floor.

Only clipped in places & the long runs aren’t clipped at all.

How do you get in with the 22mm pipe nail clips?

Will they work & reduce the clicking noise.

Dick's right again, uncovered notches get worse if the pipe is held tight against them with nail clips , use felt and less clips, clip the cold main to stop it bouncing but, let the hot pipes glide on insulation to reduce noise, As i used to say to my young plumbers mate called clyde,
